There are so many wonderful things going on in the “Dirty Dirty” aka Atlanta. But one of the most touristy and best things in Atlanta has to be–without a doubt–The Varsity. A. They have awesome fast food B. You can pull up and order your food to a bellhop (or whatever you might call them) — cash only C. They have Coke products (lately I’ve noticed along the East Coast specifically in the Carolinas; their love for Pepsi Products — gross) D. They yell at you when you don’t order quickly enough E. They have orange drink aka “Frosted Orange” and F. They have CHILLI DOGS!!! What more could a girl ask for??
Here’s the Menu for all of those inquiring minds out there.
- Yummy Yum
And then the Money Shot…
Oh so Beautiful.
For more information on The Varsity, check out their website here. Y’all have a great day.
So, I am only slightly ashamed to admit that a few weeks ago I went to Turner Field for the very first time. And… it was really cool. I really enjoy the atmosphere of a baseball park. The last time I went to a baseball game — It was at the Hoover met (bore) and the Barons were playing (double bore)… so those 9 innings went on FOR-EV-ER. Something really cool that my friends and I discovered (although I discovered it a little later than everyone else), the organist that plays for the braves incorporates the last name of the players on the opposing team into their intro music that he plays as they go up to bat. Isn’t that fun?! He even has a twitter page! His name is Matthew Kaminski. Check out an article on him here.
While I was in Atlanta it was loads of fun and I didn’t want it to end! And they didn’t even win. But now I believe that the Braves are doing really well. I’m not going to pretend like I k now what I’m talking about… so if you want all the stats, check with ESPN right here. You know what else I love, you can go to the Varsity right after the game is over and load up on chili dogs — YUMMMMMM.
At the Game 🙂
