We have all been hearing about the recent chaos surrounding Cairo and how protesters are attempting to overthrow their government. Thousands of Americans have been evacuated from Egypt — in particular students. CNN is reporting that on January 27, 2011 the government actually turned off the internet and text messaging services.
Can you imagine having NO internet and NO text messaging?
A photograph taken by Nevine Zaki shows christians protecting their fellow muslim protesters. I found this photo on this cool website. It depicts “a team of Egyptian Christians forming a massive human shield to protect their Muslim countrymen as they prayed during the violent protests yesterday. Beauty amid the chaos.”
